In less than two weeks, I’ll be running the NC Half Marathon in Charlotte, NC.
Unfortunately, my preparation is well below where I had hoped it would be…And there’s no one to blame or hold responsible but myself. I’ve been hit with a serious case of the lazies for about six weeks and have only run a few times.
I’ll be able to finish the half marathon, but I’m not sure my goal of 2:44:59 is possible.
The positive news is that any time for finishing will be a personal best and a new goal to beat at the next race. Also: Spring is here and I’ll be much more motivated to get out and run.
